About us
Situated two miles from North Berwick estate presents a unique countryside landscape. Eclipsed by the Law, an extinct volcanic plug, and split by an intrusive fault line, you can't help but feel like you’re in a special spot. At the feet of the dramatic cliff face lay two lakes, surrounded by trails, waiting to be explored.
Alongside this spectacular setting, Balgone farms roughly 1500 acres of arable land and a 100 head suckler herd. Some more recent introductions are Oxford Sandy & Black rare breed pigs.
Balgone is also home to Scotland’s largest pumpkin patch that encompasses the fields around the farm steading along with decorated trails around the lakes. New editions also include our Sunflower trail that runs during August where you can pick your sunnies and last but not least, Herd.
Herd, our cozy café and coffee shop. Here, we serve speciality coffee and delightful light bites with a vision. As Herd flourishes, we aim to bring the farm to your table, offering the freshest produce directly from our fields and pastures for you to savour in our menu or take home.
