Getting to Balgone
Balgone is conveniently located 2 miles outside of North Berwick or a 35-minute drive from central Edinburgh. Being based in the countryside, Balgone is best reached via vehicle or cycling however any mode of transport is achievable.

Searching Balgone Estate or Balgone Pumpkins on Maps is the easiest way to ensure your arrival to Balgone. You can also use the postcode EH395NY.
Please note vehicles can only enter via the West Entrance which is tarmacked, from there you can turn left into our onsite car park. No vehicles can enter via North track or the farm yard.

Getting to Balgone via bus is achievable with 25 minutes of walking to and from the bus stops.
The closest bus stop is the 121 bus route however the service is limited.
We recommend getting a bus to North Berwick High School, from which you can walk down the John Muir Way running to the Estate.

Balgone has a range of paths available to cyclists that connect to the wider John Muir Way. You can use the John Muir way to access the form directly from North Berwick which negates the need for using busier A roads.
Once on the Estate please keep an eye out for signage informing cyclists and pedestrians on unauthorised zones.
The farm area is strictly prohibited to the general public due to heavy machinery and livestock making entry into this zone irresponsible and dangerous.

Walking is a popular way of getting to the farm during the summer months. The John Muir Way provides easy and direct access to the farm from North Berwick.

The nearest train station is North Berwick. East Linton Station is also close by via taxi.
If you are coming from North Berwick Train Station you can either walk which takes around 45 min - 1hr or get a taxi which takes around 5min. Please note there is no Uber so you will need to use a local taxi company, booking prior is recommended.
